Here’s a little comparison of the evidence from Prom 2007 and Prom 2008. You’d think each photo was from a different era but at least our attire matches the themes: Footloose ’07 and Arabian Nights ’08. Nailed those poses too!

It seemed like we got rid of a ton but at the end of the day our driveway was still full. We had a great time with the first round and we’re gearing up for another garage sale in a couple of weeks. Thanks to our friends for stopping by… it was a great excuse to hang out and try to pawn off our stuff on them. 
Come one come all to our first moving sale of the season. Hopefully this will be all it takes to simplify our lives a bit before the big move. We need to lighten our shipping load so everything must go! Check out our household appliances, artwork, ceramic pottery, surfboards, sculptures, furniture, desks, futon, bed, couches, art supplies, books, clothes, clothes and more clothes.
After a hard day’s work we suited up for a classy night on the town as chaperones at La Serna High School’s Prom. Before heading out we had to document our getups with the good old polaroid. That’s Julia’s original prom dress and yes it still fits, pretty nicely too! I’m sporting my brother’s hand-me-down suit tailored for the occasion. Our apartment is looking pretty bare in the background… we’re almost done packing and there’s still a couple months to go.
Momma Ruth and Poppa Marty… congratulations on your 30 years of marriage! You two are definitely an inspiration to us all. This picture is true testament of the fun-loving relationship that you share, not to mention the best blog photo we’ve had yet. We’re so glad that you had a great trip in Mexico, you deserve it!
Our move date has been secured… July 5th, 2008! Soon enough we’ll be checking out of Los Angeles and setting up a new camp in the tropical paradise of Kauai. During our recent pre-relocation adventure, we got a little too caught up in the excitement of it all to give the island the photographic justice it deserves, but you can check out a few pics from our trip HERE.
The little terror cats and of course our fish Sylvester will have the run of the house for a week while we’re out scouting for a new home in Kauai. While we’re away the monsters will play. Check back next week for some photos from our trip.

After spending two grueling months of growing, taming and tending to my facial hair, I was finally able to give Julia a beard for Valentines Day. Too bad I couldn’t really keep it a secret, but she actually likes it … or at least that’s what she tells me.
